Counselling/Therapy Services

I specialise in individual, couple, and group psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

I offer a warm, open, and containing engagement where I will listen closely to you and work with you at your pace. In this process, we will consider and reflect on the possible ways your internal and external experiences, as well as your psychological development, informs who you are and how you interact with the world to enrich self-understanding and help you to live more fully. In doing so, I will also support you to discover ways to process/manage everyday stresses as your awareness of who you are grows.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy aims to aid self-discovery and the working through of underlying causes of psychological suffering and relationship difficulties.

This process affords you to:

  • enrich self-understanding
  • build/re-build and anchored sense of self
  • work through psychological difficulties, conflicts, dilemmas, and resistances
  • learn from experience
  • discover new ways to manage/process everyday stresses
  • navigate relationships and social interactions
  • nourish their capacity to grieve, let go, and change
  • deepen their ability to connect with and disconnect from others
  • work through attachment difficulties
  • live more congruently/fully

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, I will focus on the your relationship as you talk about it and as it unfolds in the room. In doing so, I will help create an environment to help you understand the dynamics that are unfolding between you to improve communication and understanding about what is happening between you. This approach aims to help you have a better understanding of each other and how you are operating as a couple, while helping you to navigate life together and the various challenges you may be facing.
