I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a passion for helping people begin living a life that feels purposeful, creative, and truly them.
My practice is a space of acceptance and discovery, a place where you can feel supported. Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, we will work together to gain insight and understanding, and explore new ways forward. I also offer active ways to cultivate a calm mind and tap into inner confidence – you can introduce these into your daily life straight away and establish wellbeing rituals that work for you.
Beginning therapy is courageous, and it is important to choose a therapist that you truly feel comfortable with. After you reach out, we can arrange an initial session to help us establish what you’re hoping for from therapy and to help you to decide if you’d like us to work together.
My clinical experience includes supporting clients with mental health concerns at AUT’s Integrated Health clinic, and clients with chronic illnesses at Auckland Hospital’s Immunology and Allergy clinic. Through this work I discovered the importance of working with the mind and the body in tandem. A holistic approach can be helpful for working with many of the challenges we face in life (I have specific training working with those who have ADHD and may find benefit in this). My practice is also shaped by my prior education in art and design. As a creative and artistic person, I see the therapy process as a creative collaboration.
