I am a registered psychotherapist with a practice space in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Originally from the UK, I trained as a psychotherapist here in Aotearoa, New Zealand and have experience working with adults (18+) with a wide variety of issues, including grief, trauma, difficult relationships, anxiety and loneliness.

Psychotherapy can help when familiar but unwelcome patterns resurface in your relationships or behaviours. Sometimes the issue may feel unclear or hard to define. That’s ok – it’s not uncommon to feel this way. In a secure and supportive space, we can compassionately explore and process what is going on. This understanding has the potential to help build a stronger sense of self and cultivate a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My Approach

My approach is both relational and psychodynamic. The relational aspect focuses on the importance of healthy relationships for emotional well-being. The psychodynamic aspect involves gently uncovering unconscious patterns and emotional experiences that influence current relationships or behaviours. By exploring these layers, we can process unresolved feelings, helping you move forward with greater awareness.

While my approach is rooted in relational and psychodynamic theories, I also believe in flexibility. Each person’s journey is unique, and I adapt our work to suit your specific needs and pace. This may include integrating other modalities or approaches if helpful.
