Zoe Triggs – Registered Psychotherapist and Management Consultant

Psychotherapy, Business Coaching, and Organisational Consultancy

About me

Hello! I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Management Consultant offering psychotherapy and business coaching services.

My psychotherapy and coaching are informed by my long career in business. A former ‘big 4’ consultant I have more than twenty years’ experience providing consultancy in the people elements of global M&A and transformations for multi-national corporates. I am a dual British and New Zealand citizen who lived in London for 18 years. I have worked across the U.K, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

I am very familiar with the realities of the corporate life and its demands on employees. I understand how these demands shape our identities, our physical and mental well-being, and our relationships. I provide warm, respectful, confidential therapy that will challenge you when appropriate. I am used to working with male and female clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

My approach

I am a relational psychodynamic psychotherapist drawing on mindfulness, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches as required. In my business coaching I offer packages of structured sessions which are evidence based and outcome focused. I offer a completely confidential, non-judgemental, in-depth listening ear with no agenda. My clients say they value my professional manner, my critical thinking and my sense of humour.

Issues covered

Some areas my clients and I work on together are:

  • Anxiety, stress, burn-out, attempts at ‘resilience’, work-life balance, and unhelpful coping mechanisms
  • Depression, exhaustion, feeling joyless and hopeless
  • Relationship difficulties and problematic relational patterns
  • Being at a life cross-roads and identity issues
  • Self-doubt, self-judgement, low self-worth and lack of confidence
  • Identifying and regulating their emotions – particularly anger
  • Feeling stuck and not able to make changes
  • Processing grief, trauma, health issues and loss
  • Developing their communication and social skills

Areas of specialisation

I work on all types of issues – big and small – relating to my client’s personal and professional lives. Some of my current areas of specialisation are mental wellbeing in the workplace, addiction as a coping strategy, and best practices in psychotherapy technique.
