I am a registered Clinical Psychologist on the New Zealand Psychologist’s Board (NZPB) and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPS).
I obtained my training in South Africa, and thereafter have worked in hospital and forensic settings there and in New Zealand. I was trained and resonate very much with psychodynamic thinking, and view presenting issues as rooted in both the conscious and the unconscious. I am also trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, and integrate these in a considered manner tailored to individual needs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
