I am committed to helping you increase your insight into the nature of the problems you are experiencing and the range of solutions available to you. I provide warmth, compassion, humour where appropriate, and most importantly, tools to create change.
Having survived through my own dark tunnel I am passionate about supporting others struggling to survive. While my approach is influenced by ideas of social justice, feminism and holistic health, my focus with you will be to uphold and strengthen the values you bring, which will support you in getting closer to the life you really want.
LGBTQIA-friendly, Poly-friendly, Infant-friendly, Culturally friendly.
My foundational therapeutic approach is narrative therapy, which is non blaming, non shaming, empathetic but accountability holding and results orientated. We will focus on your strengths and endurance in the face of mental distress. I will work with you to understand the narratives that have come to shape you, and help to provide you with a larger array of options going forward, in order to support you to address the problems that are messing with you.
