Kia ora, my name is Chieko. I’ve been a counsellor since 2016. My aim has always been to create a welcoming environment for clients to comfortably share their stories. If you are experiencing difficulties, it is my job to provide empathetic support while we work to get you back on track.
I offer support in areas such as anxiety, depression, anger management, substance dependence, low self-esteem, relationships, neurodivergence (ASD, OCD, ADHD), work-life balance, personal development, and more.
My practice is based in psychosynthesis counselling. It is a comprehensive form of counselling that combines western analytic methods with eastern meditative philosophies. The aims of psychosynthesis counselling include deepening a clients sense of who they are and fostering their personal growth. However, it is not a one-size-fits-all process. It involves adapting a range of different approaches in response to your individual needs and goals.
You may be feeling overwhelmed about reaching out so well done for making it this far. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or would like to start a conversation.
