It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. – The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

I hold the belief that everyone matters. This is my guiding principle in how I live my life and how I practice. I am trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist, with an emphasis on relational psychotherapy. I work intuitively and empathically with clients to facilitate the sharing and feeling of emotions, together. I believe the power of therapy lies in those ‘human-to-human’ moments when two hearts and two minds meet, when someone sees you, gets you and challenges you to grow. Our task is to create a space in which we can make your unconscious fears and desires more known, and therefore understood.
Doing so affords you the opportunity to respond to life differently. It is time to gain more insight and control of your automatic responses and lead a more authentic and fulfilled life of your choosing. Bring yourself as you are, let’s begin to shed some light on ’those parts’ that you have felt you needed to tuck away in the dark.
I have a personal interest in spirituality, philosophy, and existential psychotherapy. I believe it is important to keep death in mind, as a way to inform what it means to be vulnerable and human. Ultimately, this informs what really matters in life and how we can live meaningfully in line with that. By having this lens, I help clients connect to their ‘why’ while addressing their core issues.
I was at Papa Taumata Higher Ground Drug Rehabilitation Trust for 5 years, my experience in addictions has taught me the valuable lesson that there is always hope; no one is hopeless regardless of any situation they are in. I work with clients who find themselves stuck and hopeless due to various life circumstances. Together, we work to challenge those internal conflicts & create more empowerment.

The journey of therapy can be expectedly daunting, yet surprisingly comforting when it feels right. The match between therapist and client is important and I respect the need to chat to see if we can work well together. Please get in touch for a free 15min phone consult. I look forward to hearing from you.
