Deanna Wharton

Counsellor

Hi there, I’m Deanna and I have a real passion for helping people through the many challenges we face as humans in a way that best works for each individual. My goal is to support clients through meaningful change towards living a more satisfying and happier life.

I’ve counselled clients struggling with:

  • parenting
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • relationships
  • grief
  • stress
  • alcohol/drugs
  • self-worth
  • communication
  • anger

Counselling Services

I offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space for you to speak freely about your challenges so we can work through them together. All humans experience difficulties and the right support can make an enormous difference to how well we’re able to navigate them.

Each individual is the expert in their own life so our work together will mean working on the goals you want to achieve in the way that best suits your life and values. In the process you’ll gain new insight and understanding of yourself and your relationships, learn new skills and strategies, and improve your well-being overall.

Counsellor/client fit is one of the most important elements in successful therapy so I’m very happy for you to give me a call or email and see if I sound right for you.

Counselling Approach

I integrate a variety of counselling approaches and strategies underpinned by a special interest in mindfulness-based principles which help to foster awareness, self compassion and stress reduction.

About Me

I am also an experienced Mindful Parenting course facilitator and a Mum of 2.
