You Are Not Alone. Journey Together to Hope Again.
In counselling you are listened to and helped to explore the difficulties or concerns that you have, and you are encouraged to make changes orientated towards healing and wholeness. My counselling services are to help people’s life challenges holistically, and bring hope and resilience through the collaborative therapeutic relationship. People say that I am a comfortable person to talk with and a good listener with empathy, and they experience me as gentle and caring.
My approach to counselling is Person-Centred and Narrative Therapy based. On top of that, I also integrate several other approaches of practice including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Somatic Therapy according to clients’ needs.
I have experience in counselling mostly adults dealing with issues around life’s challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, migration and trauma. I have worked as a counsellor for the Grief Centre counselling those who are dealing with all forms of loss and grief including loss caused by migration.
