FACT is a brief but powerful behavioural intervention approach, widely used in the USA and Europe.
This advanced-level course is intensely practical, with a strong emphasis on skills-development. You’ll discover a treasure-trove of simple but powerful tools, techniques and processes that you can immediately start using to enhance your work and help your clients rapidly progress to post-traumatic growth.
This workshop assumes at least a beginners-level knowledge in FACT. Before enrolling, you must have attended an introductory level 1-day FACT workshop (with any trainer).
Dr Bruce Arroll will take you much deeper into the FACT model and show you how to adapt and enhance it to effectively address all the common problems of trauma therapy. If you already know your FACT basics and you want to enhance and adapt your skills to work efficiently, compassionately and creatively with the entire spectrum of trauma-related issues, this is the course for you.

Learning Outcomes - What it provides for clients
This workshop is a follow up on the FACT workshop.
The FACT program is based on the principle of accepting what is out of one's personal control while committing to action to enrich their life and make it more meaningful. It aims for individuals to learn to handle painful thoughts and feelings in such a way to have less impact and influence (mindfulness skills), and to clarify what is truly important and meaningful (clarify values). It teaches participants to use this knowledge to guide, inspire and motivate themselves to set goals and take action that enriches their life. This Advanced FACT workshop teaches participants more skills and a deeper understanding of the FACT model.
Ideally participants understand the principles of FACT, go to https://www.brucearroll.com/ .
This 6 hour workshop is suitable for counsellors, social workers, nurses, clinical psychologists, GP's, case workers, clinicians, and others focused on helping their clients address issues like anxiety, depression, stress and get on with life.
Please note: Health and Safety guidelines will be followed to ensure everyone's safety.
