Helen is a Psychosynthesis Counsellor, who works within the framework of current psychological theories and models; this includes a holistic approach to what is happening in terms of our thoughts, emotions and bodies and how these are connected. Awareness of these elements gives rise to change.
She works in a way to give attention to where trauma or wounding has occurred as well as looking to connect with our goals, aspirations and to find what fulfilling transformation may be ahead of us.
Helen is also a Couples Therapist. She provides a neutral place to give couples the chance to unpack whatever is causing conflict, where the energy has been lost or where there is a break in connection.
Helen has studied and trained in a wide variety of therapeutic approaches to Counselling. She continues to explore these modalities as well as current theories in the field of Mental Health.
She is a New Zealander who has travelled extensively, this has given her a good understanding of working with a wide range of people and cultures.
