Hi there, I am Isabel, another human being navigating the journey of life. Like everyone else I have faced my share of struggles and my path has inspired me to become a counsellor. I am passionate about walking alongside you, offering support on your journey of self-exploration and growth.
My approach is gentle and calm. I create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space that allows you to bring and explore whatever you feel comfortable with. I tailor my approach to your specific needs and you will decide the pace that works best for you.
The counselling process is not about providing answers, but rather about collaboratively uncovering the answers that already exist within you. You are the expert in your life and I will support you in understanding what might lie underneath your difficulties. Together we will identify strategies to help you move forward and your challenges can become your opportunities for change and growth.
My focus is on creating a space for you where you can pause, reflect, and cultivate a relationship with yourself where all parts of you are welcomed, understood and allowed to be there.
Whether it is anxiety, self-doubt, depression, grief, trauma, life changes, or any other aspect of the human experience that you are grappling with, please feel free to contact me.
I was born in Germany and immigrated to New Zealand in my early twenties. Shaped by cultural transitions and enriching experiences I have crafted a home here for myself and my family.
I have always been captivated by the complexity of human life – how we are all somehow connected yet uniquely modelled by our individual experiences. This passion guides me in the counselling process. I see it as a privilege to accompany my clients on their path of self-discovery, shining a light on their inner world and supporting them to become the best version of themselves.
I hold a Bachelor of Counselling degree and I work with clients aged 20 and up, inviting individuals from all walks of life and celebrating the diversity that each person brings to the counselling process.
Outside of work, I cherish moments with family and friends. Music, dance, and the beauty of nature are my passions – they nourish my soul and keep me grounded and fulfilled.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Our greatest challenges can become our most significant teachers. Embrace the journey with an open heart and allow it to guide you towards deeper self-awareness and growth. – Tara Brach
