Counselling and Supervision.

I am passionate about the potential for change through the counselling relationship. It can be difficult to see beyond the overwhelm and issues of the present moment, to a life that is perhaps less stressful, happier or more meaningful.

The counselling relationship can:

  • Allow perspective and clarity to emerge.
  • Assist movement through stuckness, pain, fear and overwhelm.
  • Ease symptoms of anxiety, depression and distress.
  • Provide increased awareness of choices, and develop the ability to carry these out.
  • Bring increased empowerment and potency to actions.
  • Teach tools for conscious self-management in daily life.
  • Develop an enhanced experience of self in relation to others.

Who am I?

I am an experienced Psychosynthesis counsellor of 20 years, and I work with adults and adolescents across a wide range of presenting issues. These include: Anxiety, depression, overwhelm, stress, grief, relationships, family, parenting, emptiness, crisis of meaning, isolation.

What to Expect

Working with me you can expect effective, dynamic counselling within an authentic, robust and warm therapeutic relationship. Develop strategies, let go of limiting patterns, build inner resources, create change, become curious about who you are (and how you are in the world and in your relationships). Resolve conflict, recognise your own wisdom, stretch, and become more than your current experience.

You can also expect to feel safely held with respect and professionalism. I attend regular supervision and peer support, and practice according to the Code of Ethics of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.
