Kayla Aisher

Counselling Psychologist

As a Counselling Psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society, I specialize in helping adults navigate the complexities of life. My practice is grounded in a deep respect for your unique experience, and I believe in the power of working collaboratively with you to address your mental health and well-being.

With significant experience in family violence, trauma, and general mental health, I approach therapy from a holistic and client-centered perspective. I recognize that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to offer guidance, support, and strategies to help you move forward in a way that feels right for you.

I create a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, without fear of judgment. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

Therapeutic Approaches: I draw on various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By customizing my approach to suit your personal preferences and needs, we can find what works best for you.
