Naomi White

Couples Counselling | Relationship Specialist

I help partners rediscover connection, intimacy, and joy in their relationships – even when they feel they’ve tried everything. I offer practical strategies and evidence-based tools to get your relationship back on track, whether you’re struggling with intimacy issues, have lost your spark, grown apart, experienced infidelity, or can’t stop fighting.

I’m passionate about guiding partners toward their relationship goals through personal growth and practical skill-building. I work with those who are ready to thrive and want to actively enhance their experiences of sex, intimacy, pleasure, and connection. If this resonates with you, reach out about what you’re looking for and let’s make time to chat

In our sessions, I create a safe, non-judgmental space to compassionately explore what isn’t working and discover new ways of being that align with the life you want to live. Working together, you’ll uncover hidden patterns and discover the deeper dynamics shaping your relationship. I combine psychological insight with practical strategies to help you understand unconscious influences, build emotional awareness, and create lasting change. My approach integrates cutting-edge relationship science with real-world transformative practices, drawing from Attachment Theory, Neuroscience, and the Developmental Model of Relationships.

I create an affirming, inclusive environment for people of all orientations, gender identities, relationship structures and cultures. My practice welcomes and celebrates diversity in all its forms, working with both partners together to strengthen your connection.

I support partners in achieving their relationship goals through a range of evidence-based strategies. Together we’ll work on:

  • Exploring and understanding your unique desire patterns
  • Rebuilding trust
  • Discovering deeper emotional intimacy
  • Transforming disconnection into partnership
  • Developing mature communication patterns
  • Growing through conflict
  • Building sustainable positive change

I work exclusively online with both partners together in all sessions. It is possible (and at times recommended) for each of you to join the session from separate locations/devices. Sessions are 90 minutes and cost $315.

Background

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist committed to supporting diverse relationships and identities. After completing my Masters degree and 1,500 hours of supervised practice, I registered as a Clinical Psychologist in 2015. I maintain my professional registration through ongoing development and supervision, including regular consultation to ensure I provide competent, affirming care for all clients.

Growing up in Northland, Aotearoa New Zealand instilled in me a deep love of nature, adventure, and the outdoors, alongside a genuine curiosity about human experience in all its diversity.

My professional experience spans individual therapy, group facilitation, neuropsychological assessment, youth court reporting, parenting programs, and professional supervision. I’ve worked extensively in child, adolescent, and adult mental health services.

I’ve also worked globally at various retreat centers and online, integrating eastern wisdom and embodiment practices with psychological support, helping people integrate transpersonal experiences while honoring their unique identities and journeys.
