Counselling and pastoral therapy with a caring and practical approach, Natasha offers an insight based therapy which helps clients uncover the beliefs holding them back and assess, redress and replace them with truth to bring about ongoing change.
People heal best in relationships, so whether you are in need of a listening ear, a safe place to process trauma, support to get unstuck or help to move forward, counselling can help you learn to process and thrive. It is difficult to live in a world with so many voices, so much pressure to perform and an endless array of opportunities to compare. But learning to make your mind your friend is possible with the right support and encouragement.
My role is to support this process through exploring your journey so far, integrating what has been learned, uncovering the sub-conscious beliefs that are keeping you stuck, and gaining new insight that brings about sustainable change.
I counsel using Narrative, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Strengths-based and Insight therapies.
Natasha spent four years working with young adults aged 18-25 as a pastoral minister in Sydney, Australia. On returning to New Zealand she spent five years working in the education system in sporting, social work and teaching roles. Throughout this experience her enthusiasm for developing mental and emotional resilience in young people continued to increase and she began to train as both a mental health educator and as a counsellor. She has worked in secondary schools counselling adolescents for a number of years and today presents mental and emotional health seminars around New Zealand alongside her work as a counsellor.

“...my relationship is going really well & is in a very healthy place. I finished school, and have been having exams however I have been completely calm during the exam period and not anxious whatsoever! I just wanted to say thank you for everything, and for supporting me when I needed it the most! You helped me to get to a better place and I really appreciate all of the support.”
