I am passionate about facilitating change. I love people of all ages and cultures. Areas of Special Interest

Attachment & attachment styles, Neuroscience (effects of trauma in early childhood on the development of the brain ), understanding Life Story Work (working with foster & adoptive children). I trained in the Developmental Model for Couple Therapy. My interest and understanding of Trauma has grown since working with ACC sensitive claims.

I am a believer in Equine Therapy since I had the privilege of Co-facilitating and I hope to be a part of working with horses.

Counselling Services

The first thing there is to know about counselling is Confidentiality! You are entering a safe space where there is no judgement and we are looking to build a professional relationship. There are all shapes and sizes and personalities of Counsellors. Make sure you find the right fit for you.

Counselling Approach

I am trained in Person-centered & Narrative and I use “Interpersonal process” in Therapy. I believe in a holistic approach (Te Whare Tapa Wha Model) and I teach Mindfulness. I use Infographics for Psych Education purposes. CBT & DBT skills are great tools to pass on to work through false negative beliefs we all carry.

About Me

I have been building relationships with people of all ages, Children & Families, Couples and Individuals for over 30 years, overseas and in NZ. I started my personal journey in my late 20’s and I will keep travelling on the road of discovery. Some of you will join me and we come to understand that we are all “work in progress” and we keep working to reach our full potential.

For those of you who like dogs, I have a buddy called Charlie who is happy to join us and he will comfort you when needed. He is my assistant and he loves meeting new people. If you are interested to know more about me, please feel free to contact me.
