Registered Psychotherapist Offering Supervision

My name is Moira McGuinness (she/her), Registered Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist with over 35 years experience.

My focus now has shifted primarily to supervision, sharing my learnings and knowledge, using my skills as teacher and supervisor of many years.

Professional Experience:

I have worked with trauma and grief in all forms, specialising in sexual abuse trauma. I have worked as a registered ACC Practitioner for many years.

As well as one-on-one therapy I have worked with couples and families, and run many groups. As part of the Psychosynthesis Institutes training program, I have taught for many years, run supervision groups, and supervised practitioners in their practice.

I also have experience as clinical manager, having worked for Living Without Violence Waiheke (Te Arai Roa Manaaki) for many years.
