Life is at times a complex place to be in, and understanding where we are placed within it and finding meaning in it can be confusing. I hope to help those who are burdened find ways to live a life with more ease.
I have worked with people who are going through depression, anxiety, self-harm, bullying, trouble with managing feelings and emotions, and people who are working to understand their traumas past and present. I provide a person-centred approach to counselling across multiple modalities such as Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills, Gestalt, Creative Expressive Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and the cultural health models of Fonofale and Whare tapa whā.
I have a special interest in contemplative sciences and mindful-based approaches working in the current moment.
