Rosie Brown

Kia ora, my name is Rosie Brown and I have the privilege of working as a Counsellor in my home town of West Auckland. I hold my Bachelor of Counselling specialising in the modalities of Narrative Therapy and Person Centred Therapy and I have a Life Coach Diploma. I am also skilled in several other modalities to enable individualised and holistic therapy for my clients structured in a way that works best for them including strategies for coping and how to implement change. I am flexible and compassionate in my approach and will walk alongside my client whilst honouring and respecting their autonomy. It is my vision to create a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, kind and caring space for clients to explore and make sense of their life experiences and work towards their goals. My office is nestled in a private and homely space with the option of working in an outdoor area.

I am a member of NZCCA, a governing body which oversees certain aspects of my role, including regular supervision and on-going training. I have a passion for maternal mental health alongside somatic approaches and have experience working, in particular, with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, stress/burnout, trauma, relationship issues, confidence and the achievement of goals.

I am married and a Mum to two teenage children which sees me involved in many different areas including connections in the special needs community. I enjoy spending time at the beach and outdoors together with café trips and a spot of shopping!
