My practice is a space of acceptance and discovery, a place where you can feel supported. Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, we will work together to gain insight and understanding, and explore new ways forward. And, because today’s world can often feel overwhelming, I also offer active ways to cultivate a calm mind and tap into inner confidence to integrate into your daily routine.
Beginning therapy is courageous, and it is important to choose a therapist that you truly feel comfortable with. After you reach out, we can arrange an initial session to help us establish what you’re hoping for from therapy and to help you to decide if you’d like us to work together.
My clinical experience includes providing individual therapy at AUT’s Integrated Health Clinic, and providing support and therapy for people with chronic illnesses at Auckland Hospital’s Immunology and Allergy Clinic. Through this work I discovered the importance of working with the mind and the body in tandem.
I can support you through:
Anxiety or feeling stuck. Symptoms of ADHD. Depression, grief, chronic illnesses, past trauma, relationship issues. Or there may be something else that you’re needing support with that brings you to therapy. Being a human being is challenging, you don’t have go through this alone.
My approach to therapy is holistic, and my practice is also shaped by my prior education in art and design. As a creative and artistic person, I see the therapy process as a creative collaboration.
