Thanks for checking out my page.
I have worked as a counsellor with clients of all ages (12 – 83 years) in a variety of settings, including private practice, and for mental health support agency providers. I am someone who you will likely find easy to get along with. I relate to people of all ages well.
I can help you explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a confidential environment. If you are looking for relief from distressing symptoms, I will provide a safe space in which change is possible.
Counselling is an excellent opportunity to explore, in greater depth, who you are, what you want, and how you want to live. I would be happy to accompany you on your journey of self-discovery.
Every person is unique. While I draw on a variety of therapeutic modalities, I tailor my approach to suit your unique personality and needs. No matter what you bring I will offer a warm, attentive and sensitive environment for you to talk with me in.
I integrate a variety of counselling approaches and strategies. These are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT), Solution Focused Therapy; Narrative Therapy; Strengths-based approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other bits and pieces from various therapy models.

- It will depend on your unique life situation. I normally recommend 3 sessions to start with and then to re-evaluate your progress. Some people do well with only a few sessions while others may need a bit more support. Others may need long-term counselling and return on and off over some years.
- However, this is your decision to make. We will discuss your progress as we go along to make sure that you are happy with the outcome of your counselling and the progress you are making.
